Josh and Beth Paulick on July 11, 2017

“When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, (4) what is man that you are mindful of him, and the sons of man that you care for him?  (5) yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.” Psalm 8:3-5  Growing up, I (Beth) went to Lake Ann Baptist Camp near Traverse City, MI.  She also worked there as a camp counselor during a summer.  One of my favorite things to do was the campout with the junior high girls where we would sleep under the stars and talk about the stars (Lake Ann has an amazing view!) and the expanse of space and the stars.  That God of the universe that created all that cares about us.
I was able to help teach 5th and 6th graders at Vacation Bible School this year and the theme was Galactic Starveyors.  This was a theme that was reinforced at VBS, too.  I’m just so amazed that He would choose to love us!      June was a busy month for us.  Eli had a safety town program where he learned about safety in many areas.  They had firemen, policemen, the gas company and many more people talk to them about being safe.  He really enjoyed the program.  Also, the kids were able to go to VBS for the first time this year and had such a good time!  It was a busy week and the kids were exhausted when we were done, but they learned so much that week and had so much fun.  The last week of the month we were able to spend on vacation with Beth's family in California.  Bill's (Beth's brother) family is living in Santa Rosa, CA so it was nice to be able to spend some time with them and Beth's parents.  The cousins all had fun getting to spend some time together too.  With 6 kids 6 and under it was a little crazy at times. We never could get a picture with all 6 of them!

We have been busy trying to get our house in Cambridge ready to sell and start packing it up.  It’s amazing to realize how much “stuff” you end up accumulating!  We are excited to be under contract with our house in Dayton with a potential closing at the end of July.  We are praying everything goes well with the closing.  We are planning on moving the weekend of August 12th.  Eli and Avery are starting school at Dayton Christian School August 16th and 17th (respectively.)  Eli will be starting kindergarten and Avery will be in preschool two full days a week.
We received official word we have been accepted into language school.  We were the last ones to be accepted into the January 2018 class.  So now we pray that we can raise all of our support before then.  (Our goal is to be at 100% by October 31st!)
Once all of the current verbal commitments come in we will be 70% funded!  We are so humbled and grateful for everything that God has been doing and for all of you!  Our next goal is to be at 80% by August 31st.  We will be attending our next training course (essential mission component) at ABWE headquarters at the end of the July.  We are so excited to be able to attend this course!

70 percent 70% of our funding!
