Josh and Beth Paulick on March 4, 2017

Beth has started doing a scripture writing plan and this past month (February) has been on peace.  This has been so fitting this month as peace is definitely been something we need.  John 14:25-27 says, “ These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26) But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all I have said to you. 27) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.  Not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”  The world will never give us “peace” but yet we do so often look to the world looking for peace.  I was reminded of Philippians (4:6-7) that says “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.  7) And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  We are trying to remember to keep in constant communication with the Lord, presenting our requests to Him and trusting Him.
With the one year anniversary of Todd’s death on February 26th, we’ve been talking a lot about how much God used Todd and Jen in calling us to Togo.  He had such a passion for the Hospital of Hope and for the people of Togo.  His passion was so infectious and it was hard not to be excited about the ministry after talking to him and Jen.  February 26th was also the second anniversary from the opening ceremony of the hospital.  We were able to see a video that recaps the last two years since the hospital opening.

We reached 53%!!  With verbal commitments we have reached 56%.  To reach our first goal, we would like to be at 85% by April 10.  This would allow us to attend one of the trainings we need to attend at ABWE in April.  This required training is only offered in April and November.    Here is a picture of our update puzzle!  Each puzzle piece represents $25/month of our monthly support needed.

56 percent 56% of our monthly support!

Here is our schedule for the month of March!

March 8-12- Josh will be at a CMDA new missionary training for Project MedSend (this is the organization that approved us that will be helping with Josh’s school loans while we are on the field.)
March 26th- speaking at Calvary Baptist church in Byesville, Ohio

Prayer and Praise Requests
1.)  Our sending church, Washington Heights Baptist Church, has been helping us fix up our house in Kettering, Ohio that we were renting to a Rwandan refugee family for the last 4 years while we’ve been living in Cambridge.  Please pray as they are working on it and that we can get it sold quickly.  This is also a praise that our church has been helping us so much in getting the repairs done.

2.)  Praise as the Lord keeps bringing new partners!

3.)  Pray for us as we are continuing to seek new partners that the Lord would direct us.
