Ephesians 1:3-10

Josh and Beth Paulick on May 11, 2015

We spent the last weekend in April at a missions conference at our sending church, Washington Heights Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio.  We left feeling tired, but so refreshed and encouraged.  While we were there, Josh read a passage of scripture that touched my heart in a new way.  Ephesians 1:3-10, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.  In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.”  Although we don’t always know what God is doing, we know He has a plan for our lives and believe that He will reveal those plans for us in His timing, even if it’s not our timing.
We are so excited to be going to Togo for the month of June to help with surgical coverage.  We leave May 29th and will arrive back in the states July 2nd.  It will be a long few days of traveling, but we are happy to be able to have this opportunity as a family.  Elijah still has been telling everyone we are going, however now he tells them he has to “take a lot more naps” before we can go.  We have been busy getting ready for our trip.
We have gained 4 more partners over the past few weeks.  We are now up to 15% of our monthly support.  With us being gone for the month of June, we know getting up to 50% by July 1st might be a little over zealous, but we are still praying that we can get our ultimate goal which would be to be heading to language school January 2017.  To reach this goal we would need to be at 50% the end of next June and 85% by the end of October (of 2016).
Recently (end of April) a report came from the Hospital of Hope that gave some statistics about the first two months after the hospital opened its door. Over 3000 patients have been seen, 125 surgeries have been performed, 45 babies were born, and 15 snake bite victims were treated. And as exciting as that is, even more exciting is the 50 patients that have been counseled in depth about who Jesus is and the 5 people that have decided to receive Christ as their savior!

Prayer and Praise Requests:
Praise for the excellent start to the ministry at the Hospital of Hope in Mango.
Pray for more ministry partners, The Hospital of Hope is in need of Surgical Coverage and OB/GYN coverage for periods over the next year. The Hospital in the southern part of the country is also in serious need of Surgical coverage. If you know anyone that would be able to provide coverage let us know. We also need more ministry partners in the form of prayer and financial support.
Praise that the Lord has brought 4 different supporters on board in the last few weeks
Pray for our trip to Togo this June, that all the last minute details would work out.
