December 2013

Josh and Beth Paulick on January 7, 2014

“And the angel of the Lord said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11

December was a very busy month for us as I’m sure it was for most of you. It was also a month of celebration. We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary, we celebrated Eli’s 2nd birthday, and we celebrated the arrival of our niece, Danica (who missed sharing Eli’s birthday by just a few hours). We also celebrated the birth of our Lord and have now celebrated the New Year.

We spent Christmas traveling to Maryland to visit Beth’s brother and his family (including the newborn). It was good to see and spend time with family. We were also able to visit with our teammates, Stephen and Lisa Wreesman, who were just appointed this last summer and are starting their pre-field journey. It was encouraging to get to spend some time together with them.

It is very exciting to think that in just over a year the Hospital of Hope will be opening it’s doors in Mango. We long to be there, where God has called us, and our commitment to the practice Josh is working with will be completed in August 2015 but support raising has been slow.  Please pray with us that we would be able to make time to be able to work on contacting churches and individuals while juggling Josh working full time and Beth being at home with two small children.  Also, please pray with us that God would provide 100% of our monthly support so that we could leave for language school as soon as possible after our commitment in Cambridge ends. If you feel like God is leading you to partner with us financially contact us for more details.

-Pray for our continued pre-field ministry and that God would raise up prayer and financial partners

-Pray for our spiritual walk, as it can be easy to let it slip in the midst of all of the busyness
