October/November Prayer update

Josh and Beth Paulick on November 24, 2013

“And you will say in that day: Give Thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth.” Isaiah 12:4 and 5

We have many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season.

“For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him.” 1 Samuel 1:27. We are thankful for our most recent addition.  Avery Grace Paulick joined our family on October 17 at 9:15 PM weighing in at 9 lbs 1 oz and measuring 20.5 inches.  We laughed after they told us how much she weighed, because it was the exact same as Elijah when he was born.  We were thankful that the labor and delivery went well and Avery arrived safely.

We were also thankful for the love we were shown after the birth with the amazing meals and visits we had from family and church family.  Big brother Elijah is in love with his little sister.

He was trying to get her to help him “cook” in this picture.  One of the precious moments we were able to witness.  He wants her to sit with him and asks to hold her quite often.  We love watching them together.  Although it has been quite an adjustment to being a family of 4, we are definitely enjoying it.

We are excited every time we hear about the progress of the hospital.  We have been feeling more of an urge lately to “just get there,” but know that God has a perfect plan for us.  We last heard that they were beginning to pour the concrete for the floors in the operating rooms and completing the finish work for the clinic area.  Please pray for us as we continue to raise support.  We are hoping to be able to contact churches after the first of the year.  (Please let us know if you know any churches that would like to learn more about our ministry! :) )  We are thankful for all of you, for your prayers and love.  We have definitely felt the prayers during this adjustment to a family of 4.
