Blessings

Josh and Beth Paulick on April 12, 2013

He is risen!  March closed with celebrating the blessing of our Savior’s resurrection. We hear and talk about the resurrection so much that it can be easy to forget the significance of it. I Corinthians 15 reminds us of the critical importance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. “For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins” (vs. 16-17).  This has been a great reminder to us as we celebrated Easter.

March definitely proved to be a busy month, but a month full of blessings.  We were so blessed by our sending church, Washington Heights Baptist Church and to be involved in their Missions Conference.  We are also excited to report, we are now at 16% of our monthly support.  We obviously have a long way to go, but it’s a huge blessing to be at 16% already!

Another huge blessing was that Josh passed his exam and is now a board-certified general surgeon! That means no more tests for 10 years when it comes time to recertify.  Beth and Elijah had a good time in Dallas enjoying the warmer weather while Josh was enduring a board review course.

April has been and will be busy with Josh being on call and working a lot, but we are enjoying a weekend off to spend time as a family.

Elijah also wants to tell everyone about another blessing that we are anticipating.
